‘Watching and reading the news, we see and hear stark evidence of a world that’s in urgent need of reconciliation, healing and renewed solidarity. There’s an important opportunity for churches and ecumenical organisations to make a difference if we have the confidence to believe that we have something worthwhile to offer, but also the humility to know that the Christian voice is only one amongst others in an increasingly diverse and pluralist public square.’
